UK supermarket TESCO embraced this thinking recently when they listened to customers asking for more fashion options in-store. TESCO are now trialing giving up some retail space to fashion stores Dorothy Perkins, Burtons and Evans inside their supermarkets. This is a great example of listening to customer needs and using your owned asset to respond with a WIN:WIN result.
